Learn some basics of sewing with knit fabrics on a serger. We will draft the pieces needed to create a slouchy cocoon sweater.
Prerequisites: some sewing knowledge/experience preferred; ideal for any level sewist who is wanting to work with knit fabrics; can be brand new to working on a serger! MUST HAVE A SERGER

Simple pattern drafting

Supply list:
Serger
2yd knit fabric with at least 30% stretch
Drapey fabrics work well; lighter weight great for summer, heavier/fluffier great for colder months
Thread to match
Tools/Supplies needed: soft measuring tape, sewing clips/pins, scissors/rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler/straight edge
Students must be 16 or up
