Week 1 is done exclusively on a serger\,  unless the ruching option is chosen; Week 2 will use both the serger and sewing machine.\n\n    Skills you’ll learn: \n\n\nworking with knits\nsewing from a pattern\nusing a serger\nattaching knit bands\ninstalling elastic\nzig-zag stitch\n(optional) elastic ruching\n\n\n   What you’ll take home after course completion: 2 panties\, 1 reversible bralette\n\nDates/times: 2 week mini course – Thursdays 6-9pm Feb 5th  AND  Feb 12th\n\nSupply list:\n\n\nStudent supplies: 2.5yd knit fabric with 50% 4-way stretch and good recovery (1.25yd main\, 1.25yd coordinate); cotton/spandex recommended\, but other spandex blends work well too\nThread to match\nInstructor provides bra band elastic and clear elastic\nTools/Supplies student can bring if they have them: soft measuring tape\, sewing clips/pins\, scissors/rotary cutter\, cutting mat\, ruler\, loop turner (Shop and or instructor some to be shared as well)\nStudents can bring their own serger if they have one as well\nPattern is included!
